Dr. Simon Lui
Co-founder and Chief Advisor, Dr.Code
Dr. Simon Lui was formerly an Assistant Professor in the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), visiting scholar in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Simon was a Marie Curie Fellow in 2011.
Dr. Simon Lui is one of the earliest iPhone and iPad app developers worldwide, especially well known for mobile game development. He is one of the pioneers in developing iPhone app in Hong Kong and a well-reputed gadget specialist. Simon has published seven apps since 2008, including several best-selling apps in Southern Asia, as well as Canada’s iPhone/iPad app store. His story was reported by CNN International. Dr Simon Lui is currently focusing on mobile app research and education.
Dr. Lui is also an expert in STEM education. His teammate and him are using the Virtual Reality-based STEM approach (VR based STEM) to teach additive manufacturing and his work is published in the NASA Conference in 2015.
Dr Simon Shen

Dr Simon Shen is an internationally renowned professor specializing in International Relations and one of the most interviewed Hong Kong scholars by overseas media. Graduated from University of Oxford and Yale University, Dr. Simon Shen is one of the few international relations scholars originating from Hong Kong who earned both international recognition and local prominence. As one of the most prolific scholars in the rank of associate professorship, he has published more than 70 academic articles and publications including 13 articles in leading SSCI journals. Dr Simon Shen is also the visiting fellow at the Brookings Institution, the University of Warwick and National Universtiy of Singapore and Lead Writer (Global) at Hong Kong Economic Journal.
Energetic, committed and innovative, Dr Simon is perceived as one of the Hong Kong’s brightest and ablest young people. With his vision and indepth knowledge of the global development, Dr Simon Shen is always a forward-looking expert with good insight in how to cope with the future changes and his daily articles are always eye opening to the readers. Ms Regina Yeung

Ms Regina Yeung is formerly an entrepreneur and financial professional specializing in Chinese outbound investment. She advises Fortune 500 company clients and private business consortium in sourcing overseas investment opportunities. She specializes in project negotiations, government relations and investment financing. She is also passionate in volunteering for the youth sectors. She is the founder of Model United Nations Club in Hong Kong as to encourage the local youths to widen their horizons at the global development.
Since her relocation to Singapore and a change of life plan, she is now actively involved in future education and dedicates her passion in nurturing a smarter generation. She is one of the pioneers in launching eLearning in early 2000’s and her global business expertise can tailor the course to a practical pathway towards the use in the digital economy.
Dr Elvis S. Liu
Co-founder and Chief Scientist
Asso Prof @NTU, Singapore (expert in machines learning course)
Dr Elvis Liu was formely an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Engineering at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU). He is also associated with the Parallel and Distributed Computing Centre (PDCC).
Before coming to Singapore, Dr Liu was awarded an Irish Research Council Fellowship to conduct research at IBM Research, Ireland. His research at IBM focused on simulations for exascale high performance computing systems. The culmination of this project is an article published in ACM Transactions on Modeling and Computer Simulation (TOMACS), which was selected as a “Best of Computing” article in 2014 by ACM Computing Reviews. He was also a Research Fellow of the Performance Engineering Laboratory (PEL), University College Dublin and The Irish Software Engineering Research Centre (Lero).

Although Aditya's formal education is in computer science, he prefers to describe himself as a growth hacker; developing unorthodox strategies across marketing funnels and product development. In short, developing efficient and effective ways to grow a business.
Under his leadership, Potato Pirates (Codomo's first product) has gone on to be the most backed project from Singapore on Kickstarter - raising over a quarter million dollars with over 5,000 backers.
Aditya is very passionate about biohacking, consciousness engineering and creative intelligence - incorporating elements of his persona into Codomo's company ethos. He has also developed software solutions in the shipping and logistics industry.
Seah Tat Leong
Co-founder and CTO, Codomo
Born a visionary, Tat Leong has always strived to bring his ideas to reality. Graduating with a B.Eng (Summa cum laude) from SUTD’s Engineering Product Development pillar, he is in charge of designing Codomo’s unique and comprehensive curriculum that integrates design and technical skills. His vision is to nurture young designers and innovators by equipping them with 21st Century skills that will enable them to create an impact on the world in the future. Tat Leong has won numerous design accolades, most notably the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in 2012. He was also one of the top 10 finalists in the IKEA Young Designer Award 2014.
Co-founder and COO, Codomo
Fendy graduated with a Magna Cum Laude from SUTD Engineering System and Design. His achievements include clinching 2nd place in Kaggle - an international data science competition portal. He has experience in various data science technology stacks including database, data analytics tools and data visualisation platforms. He has achieved a distinction in Stanford University’s Machine Learning course. As a data analyst, he has also collaborated with Infineon to spearhead a project which optimises the time study of packing process in its distribution centre. As the Co-Founder of Codomo, he has a strong passion to teach by sharing knowledge and expertise with his students.
Lim Jia Xuan
Co-founder and CDO, Codomo
Jia Xuan is the Creative Director & User Experience Designer at Codomo. She helps to create unique learning experiences for students of different age groups. Trained in the arts and science of architectural design, Jia Xuan holds a BSc (Magna Cum Laude) in Architecture and Sustainable Design from Singapore of University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and is currently pursuing her Master of Architecture degree at SUTD. She has worked with multiple renowned architectural firms in the region, including Guz Architects, a+p group as well as the Estee Lauder Asia Pacific Design Centre.
Jia Xuan is a mentor for many budding social entrepreneurs, bringing together her knowledge in spatial design and her passion for creating sustainable living for the less fortunate.
Prof Andrew B Horner
HKUST Professor (Best teaching award)
Prof Andrew Horner is a Professor in the Computer Science Department at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). His primary research interests are music synthesis and timbre. He coauthored the book Cooking with Csound: Woodwind and Brass Recipes and co-chaired the International Computer Music Conference in Hong Kong. He received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in 1993. He has won numerous teaching awards, including the Michael G. Gale Medal for Distinguished Teaching, the university's highest teaching award. He is also the winner of best teaching award in whole HKUST.
Dr Ray C.C. Cheung

Dr. Ray Cheung is an Associate Professor in City University of Hong Kong. He is the director of the app lab and also an expert in app education. He is one of the pioneer in introducing coding to Hong. Dr. Ray Cheung received the B.Eng.(Hons) and M.Phil. degrees in computer engineering and computer science; engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 1999 and 2001 respectively, and the DIC and Ph.D. degree in computing from Imperial College London (IC) in 2007. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronic Engineering at City University of Hong Kong, and with Digital Systems Lab. His current research interests include cryptographic hardware designs and design exploration of System-on-Chip (SoC) designs and embedded system designs. He is the chairman of the IEEE Hong Kong Section CAS/COM Chapter, and executive committee member of the IEEE Hong Kong Section Computer Chapter. He is the author of over 100 journal papers and conference papers.
Dr. Magesh Chandramouli
Expert in STEM education
Dr. Chandramouli is an expert in STEM education. He is currently an Associate Professor at Purdue University Northwest.
Dr. Chandramouli’s area of interests include Virtual Reality, Visualization, Genetic Algorithms, and Design Optimization. His teaching covers courses on Animation, Digital Lighting, Rendering, Motion for Computer Animation, and Raster/Vector Graphics. He recently completed his work on an American Society of Engineering Education/ETD grant titled, “Enhancing Programming Skills of Engineering and Technology Students Using an Object-Oriented Multidimensional Desktop Virtual Reality (dVR) Framework. The results of the work accomplished were accepted and published in the conference proceedings of the CIEC and IEEE STEM Education conferences.
